It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Yevette Clark, a headstrong woman who filled our lives with laughter and love. Yevette left us on February 2, 2025, at the age of 74, but her spirit will live on in the countless beautiful memories she created with her family and friends.
Born on May 27, 1950, Yevette was a hard worker known for her sarcastic sense of humor that could lighten any mood. She had a sweet tooth like no other, with a special fondness for Butterfinger candy bars and M&M's-so if you were ever in need of a snack, you knew where to find her!
Yevette was an avid gardener who loved planting flowers and watching them bloom. She spent many joyful hours dancing, lost in music, and curling up to enjoy her favorite Lifetime movies, westerns, and classic TV shows. An animal lover at heart, she cherished her dog, Sissy.
Family was everything to Yevette. She relished every moment spent with her children and relatives, sharing stories and laughter that will be dearly missed.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Arlington Austin Woods of Beaumont, TX; daughter, Stephanie Hope Stewart of DeRidder, LA; bonus daughters, Melody Perkins and Jaime Chatagnier; brothers, Bobby and Clay Collier; special friends, Jonathan and Tina Dunn; grandchildren, Isabella Hope, Zoey Love, James Thomas, Jade Evon; two great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Lena Collier; sister, Lynn Collier; brother, Steve Collier.
Yevette may have left this world, but her legacy of love and laughter will continue to bring us joy. Rest in peace, dear Yevette. You will be missed every day.
