Woodrow Wilson Colton, Sr., 92, of Evans, LA, passed from this life on Tuesday, February 2, 2021.

Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Cathy Maresh and John of Huntsville, TX, Woodrow “Boggie” Colton, Jr. and Beverly of Knight, LA, Pattie Lott of Evans, LA;  six grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and one on the way; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 71 years, Myrlene Colton; parents, Louis and Elizabeth Colton; brother, Buddy Colton; sisters, Ophelia Sanders, Lucille Parker, Elsie Creel.

Graveside funeral service will be at 11:30 AM, Friday, February 5, 2021 at Hinson Cemetery in Knight, LA. Pastor George Jeane will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Clint Colton, Davin Chaney, Jason Frank, Billy Maricle, Steven Richmond, Anthony Maricle. Burial will follow at Hinson Cemetery in Knight, LA.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the family requests that everyone wear a mask and practice social distancing.
