Woodrow Jackson, 76, of Bon Wier, TX, passed from this life on Wednesday, May 12, 2015 at his home.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Lorean Jackson; sons, Curtis Earl Jackson and wife Angela of Newton, TX, Timothy Jackson and wife Courtney of Bon Wier, TX, Derrick Jackson and wife Chelsea of Kirbyville, TX; daughters, Alonia Young of Old Field, TX, Betty Bell and husband Henry of Houston, TX, Brenda Douglas and husband Anthony of Houston, TX, Ida Sweet and husband Gregory of Bon Wier, TX, Lisa Mays and husband Billy Joe Jr. of Jasper, TX, Sara Mae Harris and husband Rodrick of Fate, TX, Gwendolyn Jackson of Houston, TX, Miranda Kay Jackson of Bon Wier, TX, LaWanda Jackson of Houston, TX, Marquita Jackson of Houston, TX, and Denekia Jackson of Houston, TX; brother, Max Clyde Price and wife Nancy of Houston, TX; 31 grandchildren, and 38 great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Kirk and Pinkie Jackson; and grandson, Marcus Jackson.

Visitation and Funeral service will be held Saturday, May 16, 2015 at United Christian Fellowship in Newton, TX.  Visitation will begin at 9:00am until time of funeral service at 11:00am.  Burial will follow at Belgrade Cemetery in Newton, TX.  Pastor Charles Ray Foster will officiate.
