Wilma White Scallon

Our beloved mother, mawme, sister, aunt and friend, Wilma White Scallon, born August 30,1947, lost her battle with Alzheimer’s and passed away peacefully with family by her side on March 30th, 2023, at the age of 75.

Wilma was known for her love for animals, love for her family, especially her grandkids, and her spunky personality.

"We can shed tears that she is gone, or we can smile because she has lived.”

She will be forever remembered by her sons, Michael Scallon and wife, Renee of DeRidder, LA, Bubba Scallon and wife, Kim of DeRidder, LA; grandchildren, Lesli Scallon and wife, Taylor, Justin Scallon, Lakaybra Purdy and husband, Timothy, Brookelyn Scallon, Breeana Sexton and husband, Bailey, all of DeRidder, LA; great grandchildren,  Keith, Sean, Racelyn, Kinzlee, Kohen, Knox, and Lynlee Renee, all of DeRidder, LA; brothers, James White of Youngsville, LA, Willard White of Houston TX; sisters, Audrey Gallier of Vidor TX,  Lou Lopez of DeRidder, LA and a host of in-law's, nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Louis G Scallon Jr.; parents, Raleigh White and Oma James White; brother, Aubrey White; sister, Martha Barton.
