Wilma Lee Sowells Scott passed from this life on Saturday, February 27, 2010.  Visitation will be held on Friday, March 5, 2010 at 6:00 P.M. at the Ellen Burr Baptist Church in Leesville, LA.  Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. also at Ellen Burr Baptist Church in Leesville, LA.  Pastor Derrick Johnson will officiate.

Wilma Scott is Survived by her six daughters: Dr. Lori Scott Huntt of Port Arthur, TX; Dr. Yvonne Scott Miller (Calvin) of Lawrenceville, GA; Mrs. Lydia Scott Steward (Ricky) of Monroe, LA; Mrs. Letrece Scott Harris (Jackie) of Pine Bluff, AR; Mrs. Lisa Scott Broussard (Michael) of Lawrenceville, GA and Mrs. Yolanda Scott Johnson (Terry) of Lawrenceville, GA. Twelve grandchildren: Dana Hunt of Lawrenceville, GA; Ricky Stewart of monroe, LA; Anthony Archield of Lawrenceville, GA; Jackie Harris, Jr., Joshua Harris and Jonathan Harris of Pine Bluff, AR; Sarah Miller, Calvin Miller, Jr. and Cameron Miller of Lawrenceville, GA; John Johnson, Justin Johnson and jeremiah Johnson of Lawrenceville, GA. One great granddaughter: Jordyn Sumbler. Step children: Terran Turner (Terry and Yolanda); and Michael, Jr. Miesha (Michael and Lisa). Siblings: Genell Sowells Carter (Grover) of Montgomery, AL; Walter L. Sowells (Ella) of Houston, TX; Geraldine Maxie Bell Sowells Johnson (Tone) of Sorpus Christi, TX and Roosevelt J. Sowells of DeRidder, LA.

She is preceded in death by her husband Rev. Lenzo Verlon Scott and three siblings Deloris Sowells, Maxine Sowells and Welson D. Sowells.
