Willis "Bill" Farris

February 12, 1940 - August 5, 2014

Willis “Bill” Farris, 74 of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Tuesday, August 5, 2014 in Lake Charles, LA.  Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 45 years, Lishe Lou Farris; sister, Bronnis Farris Vore of Cleburne, TX; very special and loving niece, Pam Austin of DeRidder, LA.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Lillian Farris; sisters, Frances Farris Risher and Wanda McWhirter Heaton.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 6, 2014 from 5:00pm until 9:00pm at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA, and Thursday, August 7, 2014  at Hopewell Baptist Church from 10:00am until time of service. Funeral service is Thursday, August 7, 2014 at 2:00pm at Hopewell Baptist Church in DeRidder (Bundick Lake). Burial will follow at Hopewell Cemetery.  Bro. Steve Miller, Bro. Huey Haymon, and Bro, Ben Austin will officiate.
