Willie Piper, Sr.

Willie Thomas Piper, Sr., 86, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Saturday, January 7, 2023.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Willie Thomas Piper, Jr. and Jocelyn of Arizona City, AZ, Terry Piper and Leessa Piper of Ocean Side, CA, Jermy Hadnott and Taisha of Houston, TX, James Earl Hadnott and Carlotta of Houston, TX; daughters, Maria Freeman and Stephen of DeRidder, LA; brothers, Edward Piper of Spring Hill, FL, Johnnie Worthen and Helen of Texas City, TX; sisters-in-law, Lottie Piper of Santa Clarita, CA, Ruby Wise of Los Angeles, CA; nine grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wives, Audrey Piper, Charlotte Piper; close friend in love, Mittie LaRowe; son, Steven Piper; brother, Murray Piper, Ervion Piper.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 13, 2023 from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM at Norris Memorial Church of God in Christ in DeRidder, LA. Pastor Murray Piper will officiate the service. Burial will follow at Community Cemetery in DeRidder, LA.
