Willie Faye "Jane" Jeane

Willie Faye “Jane” Jeane, 83, of Leesville, Louisiana, passed from this life on Monday, October 15, 2012. Willie was a member of Canaan Baptist Church. She liked the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, sewing, crocheting and just a little bit of everything.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, John Dewey Jeane Jr.  and James Edgar “Bit” Jeane and wife Brenda Lea all of Leesville, LA; daughters, Alfa Chaney and husband Jimmy of Leesville, LA, Robbie Jordan and husband Roger of Burrs Ferry, LA and Melissa Ann Jeane of Leesville, LA; brothers, Louis Jones of Baton Rouge, LA and William H. Jones of Simpson, LA; sister, Ethel Lanier of Birmingham, AL; 10 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Dewey Jeane Sr.; parents, James Thomas and Gladys Lambert Jones; brothers, Kenneth Jones, Thomas Jones and JamesPaul Jones; sisters, Annie Dowden and Ruth Parker; grandsons, Thomas Jeane and James David Chaney.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 from 5:00pm until 10:00pm at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.  Funeral services will be on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at 10:00am also at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Burrs Ferry Cemetery in Burrs Ferry, LA.  Bro. Morris Goins will officiate.
