Deacon Willie Andrew Guillory a retired employee of Beauregard Parish School Board and life-long resident of DeRidder, Louisiana, passed away on Monday, October 10, 2022 at the age of 75.


Deacon Guillory was born in DeRidder, Louisiana on November 13, 1946 to Andrew and Samantha Guillory. He graduated from George Washington Carver High School in 1966. He entered the military following high school and served one tour in Viet Nam. He married, had two sons and later he met and married Paula and was welcomed by three sons.


He was a devoted husband, father and member of First Assembly of God. He was a spiritual leader involved in many church activities. One of his favorite activities is teaching and discussing the word. He also worked at Boise Cascade, Westvaco and in security.


He is survived by his wife, Paula Guillory; his children, Warrick Guillory of Houston, TX, James Guillory (Nicky) of Houston, TX, Jaime Benjamin (Georgia) of Lake Charles, LA, Christopher Benjamin of Arlington, TX, John Fisher of DeRidder, LA; sister, Rosa Cole (Floyd) a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.


He was preceded in death by his son, Isaiah Benjamin and his parents.


Visitation will be held on Friday, October 21, 2022 from 9:00 AM until time of service at 10:30 AM at First Assembly of God, 801 North Texas Street, DeRidder, LA. Active Pallbearers will be Aaron Dupas, Javon Whitley, Kaleb Bragg, Christopher Benjamin, Jaime Benjamin, Gerald Jernigan, Christopher Bolton. Honorary Pallbearers will be Chris Palmer, Carl Dupas, Gerald Palmer, Joseph Dupas, Chris Jenkins, Richard Clark, Raymond Whitley. Burial will follow at Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Leesville, LA.
