William B. Pippin, Sr., 86, was called to his heavenly home on Monday, June 23, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. Although he resided in Calcasieu Parish for his last 30 years, Beauregard Parish was called “Home”. He was in the U.S. Army and served in Guam from 1946-1947. W.B. retired in 1987, from Levingston Shipbuilding in Orange, TX.
W. B. is survived by his spouse, Patricia Pippin; son, William B. (Brad) Pippin, Jr. and wife Becky; daughter, Cindy Pippin and Joe Mulkey; grandson, Chris Pippin; granddaughter, Nikki Pippin Cormier; great grandchildren, Tristyn, Lakyn, Gage, Corbin, and Leah; sister, Maxine Gammon of Round Rock, TX; brother, Jack Dean Pippin, Sr. of Knight, LA; numerous nieces and nephews; stepchildren, Angela Currie and Perry Hollier. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd L. and Helen Eason Pippin; daughter, Debra Ann Pippin; and sister, Louise Bellew.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 25, 2014 from 5:00pm until 9:00pm at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. A celebration of life will be held in the chapel of Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at 10:00am. Burial will follow in Hinson Cemetery in the Knight Community, LA. Brother Rob Tibbitts will officiate.
