William “Bill” Harold Galbreath, 75, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Thursday, November 17, 2022.
Bill retired as a 1st Sergeant after serving over 22 years in the United States Army, retired after 20+ years at Beauregard Parish Sheriff Department as a Deputy, Detective and Warden. Bill was an avid golfer and also an Usher at Norris Memorial COGIC.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of twenty-eight years, Marion Galbreath of DeRidder, LA; daughters, Kimaron Moore (Stanley) of DeRidder, LA, Shanetta Foy (Ricky) of Dallas, TX, Taraya Turner of Colorado Springs, CO, Kenya Faison (Tommy) of Austin, TX; one chosen son, Thomas Reese, Jr. (Lolien) of Corpus Cove, TX; brother, Thomas Galbreath of Knoxville, TN; aunt, Bonzetta Galbreath of Chicago, Il; sixteen grandchildren, six great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Annabelle Galbreath; brothers, David Galbreath, Leonard Galbreath.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM at Norris Memorial Church of God in Christ, 501 East North St., DeRidder, LA. Jim Chevers will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Beauregard Parish Sheriff Department. Burial will follow at Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Leesville, LA.
