William Earl Harper, 71, of Sugartown, Louisiana, passed from this life on Saturday, September, 22, 2018.
Mr. Harper loved spending time with his precious grandchildren. He loved to hunt, fish, garden and relax while reading a good western novel.
Those left to cherish his memory are spouse, Betty Harper of Sugartown, LA; son, William Darrell Harper of Ragley, LA; daughter, Marsha Kines of Newton, TX; sister, Sharon Bradley of Sugartown, LA; grandchildren, Kharliy Gentry of Shreveport, LA, Melanie Pierre of Leesville, LA, Austin King of Topsy, LA, Tagen King of Topsy, LA, Autumn Harper of Sulphur, LA, Stephanie Kines, Harley Kines and Elijah Benus all of Newton, TX; 3 great-great grandchildren, Aubree and Liam Kines, and Kairi Gentry; niece, Angela Meshell Brown & Michael; great nephew, Travis Brown; great niece, Martha Brown; two great-great nieces, Cheyenne Smith and Brianna Coker and a host of family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jesse and Vergie Harper; parents, Percy and Velma Harper, Sr. and brothers, Percy Harper, Jr. and Richard Harper and his sister-in-law Diane Harper.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 27, 2018 from 5:00 to 9:00 PM at Shiloh Baptist Church in Dry Creek, LA and will continue at 9:00 AM on Friday until the time of service. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM, Friday, September 28, 2018 also at Shiloh Baptist Church in Dry Creek, LA. Reverend Bruce Butts will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be, Austin King, Anthony Wisby, David Harper, Patrick Harper, Travis Brown, and Arron Youngblood. Burial will follow at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery in Dry Creek, LA.
