William A. "Bill" Simpson, Jr.

December 19, 1966 - July 24, 2015

William A. (Bill) Simpson Jr., 48, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Friday, July 24, 2015 at his home.  Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, Judy and Willie Simpson Sr.; sisters, Charol Simpson, and Sharon S. Bailey and husband Dennis A. Bailey; aunt, Freida Snapp all of DeRidder; cousins, Monica Vernier, Andrea Sasser and Dewayne D. Bailey; nephew, Billy Joe Reed of Baytown, TX; niece, Amanda Lee Young of Midland, TX; 4 great nieces and 2 great nephews; fiancee’, Katrina Bailey of Rosepine, LA.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents; and Uncle, Jerry Snapp.

Visitation will be held Sunday, July 26, 2015 from 5:00pm until 9:00pm at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.  Funeral service will be Monday, July 27, 2015 at 10:00am at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Old Cypress Cemetery in DeRidder.  Pastor Bynum will officiate.
