Wilfred James Richard, 60, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at his home.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Judy Richard of DeRidder, LA; mother, Janell Ernst of Rosepine, LA; brothers, Preston Richard and wife of Sulphur, LA, Raymond Richard and wife of Vinton, LA, and Hardy Jones, Jr. “Chip” and wife of Lawton, OK; sisters, Margaret Hebert and husband of Pensacola, FL, Catherine St. Romain and husband of Ragley, LA, Rebecca Richard, Barbara Fenell of Pensacola, FL; mother-in-law, Essie Akin of DeRidder, LA; a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.  He was preceded in death by his father, Clovis Richard and niece, Katina Roshto.

Visitation will be held Saturday, November 30, 2013 from 5:00pm until 9:00pm at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.  Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 1, 2013 at 2:00pm at Westview Baptist Church in DeRidder, LA.  Burial will follow in Beauregard Cemetery in DeRidder, LA.  Bro. Jason Hoychick will officiate.
