Wanda Wilson

Wanda Wilson, 59, of  Starks, LA passed from this life on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at her home. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Larry Statum Jr. and wife Gelena of DeQuincy, LA, Edward Allen Statum of Vinton, LA and Aaron Paul David and Angelique of Starks, LA; mother, Vera Mae Johnson of Starks, La; brother, Edward Gene Johnson and wife Chris of Starks, LA; sisters, Ruby Nell Martinez and husband Raymond of Starks, LA, Betty Ruth Statum and husband Jerry of Starks, LA, Janice Funk and husband Roy of Vinton, LA and Patricia Peveto and husband Allen of Deweyville, TX; 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Steve Wilson and father, Edward Johnson.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2013 from 5:00pm until 10:00pm at Calvary Apostolic Church in Starks, LA.  Funeral services will be on Sunday, January 27, 2013 at 11:00am also at Calvary Apostolic Church.  Burial will follow at VFW Cemetery in Starks.  Rev. Jeremy Shields will officiate.
