Wanda Williams

Wanda Lou Williams, 78, of DeRidder, Louisiana, passed from this life on Monday, November 19, 2012. Wanda was very loving, kind and faithful. She loved God and her family and they always came first.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 58 years, Henry L. Williams; sons, Michael Williams and wife Cheryl of Westminster, CO and Jay Williams of DeRidder, LA; daughters, Janet VanWinkle and husband Raymond of Magnolia, TX and Martha Kibler and husband Rick of DeRidder, LA; brother, Arlen McConathy and wife Jean of Natchitoches, LA; twin sister, Wilma Sue Hardy and husband Ed of Ball, LA; grandchildren, Ashley Barber and husband Derrick, Kamrie and Ripper VanWinkle, Collin and Cade Kibler and Alexis Williams. She was preceded in death by her father, Oscar McConathy, mother, Nora Dixon, daughter, Carolyn Sue Williams, brother, C.J. McConathy; sister, Melva Lilley; granddaughter, Kristian VanWinkle and stepfather, Warren Dixon.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 from 5:00pm until 9:00pm and on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 beginning at 11:00am until time of service at First United Pentecostal Church in DeRidder, LA. Funeral service will be Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at 1:00pm also at First United Pentecostal Church. Burial will follow at Cooper Cemetery in DeRidder, LA. Bro. Zale Lewis will officiate.
