Wade Jones, Jr., 84, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on, Sunday, December 6, 2020.

Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Patricia Husband and David, Jr. of Port Arthur, TX, Otis Bush and Toni of Raleigh, NC, Debra Grant and Ricky of DeRidder, LA, Michelle Acker and Justin of DeRidder, LA, Cherol Perkins of Chicago, IL, Jeremy Hunter and Lafabia of Dallas, TX, April Ivory of Lafayette, LA, Tina Whitaker of DeRidder, LA; brother, James Acker of China, TX; special cousin, Bobby Blakley of Chicago, IL; twenty grandsons; twelve granddaughters; twenty-nine great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Wade Jones, Sr.; mother, Mattie Ethel Haynes; stepfather, Frank Acker; brother, Adolph Jones; son, Wade Bernard Jones, Demetrius Jones.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 11, 2020 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 Am at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Funeral service will be at 10:30 AM, Friday, December 11, 2020 at Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Leesville, LA. Reverend Michael Harris will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Darren Harris, Marcus Patterson, Reginald McClendon, Ronnie Jackson, Paul Fairley, Jimmy Wilson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Davien Harmon, Kendrick Jones, Michael Hoskey, Jr., Drake Husband, David Husband, Marlon Bush. Burial will follow at Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Leesville, LA.
