W.C. “Bill” White, 84, of Pitkin, LA, passed from this life on Tuesday, July 14, 2020.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Sammy J. Bailey and Becky of Linden, TX, Charles D. Callaway and Debbie of DeRidder, LA; daughter, Delores “Dee” Midkff and Michael of Pitkin, LA; brothers, Benford Herford and Ann of Rosepine, LA, Jim David Herford and Bobbie of Minden, LA; sisters, Loretta Williamson and Donald of Baton Rouge, LA; grandchildren, Derek Midkiff and Susan, Renee Johnson and Hobie, Sheryl White and Kerry, Donna Bailey, Kim Crew, Sam Bailey, Jr. and Teresa, Dallas Bailey, Arron Stephens, Dawn Crump and James, Wayne Lake and Blake, Brandi Tackett and Steven; a host of great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma White; father, William White; mother, Sevella Herford; grandsons, Cody Midkiff, D.J. Callaway, Kelly Callaway; brothers, I.D. “Sonny” Herford; sisters, Bertha Davis, Doris Mayeaux.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2020 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Graveside funeral service will be at 11:00 AM, Friday, July 17, 2020 at Old Cypress Cemetery in Rosepine, LA. Brother Leroy Stracener will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Derek Midkiff, Mark Herford, Benford Herford, Dallas Bailey, Steven Tackett, and Erik Bailey. Burial will follow the service at Old Cypress Cemetery.
