Virlyn Worrell

Virlyn Walton Worrell, 67, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Wednesday, September 20, 2023.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of thirty-eight years, Barbara Ann Worrell; son, Tim Hughes and Kristi of Tarkington Prairie, TX; daughter, Krystal Worrell of Brewton, AL; brother, Chris Worrell and Angela of NC; sister, Janet Nelson and Charles of GA; grandchildren,  Victoria Johnson and Justin of DeRidder, LA, Seth Nesbitt, Leah Flippo, Chasity Salazar, Christian Hughes; great grandchildren, Rhett Johnson, Lyndsey Johnson, Alia Flippo-Brock, Aria Leal, Addox Elliott, Amia Elliott, Noble Swindell and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his son, Terrell Hughes; parents, Thomas and Patricia Worrell.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 25, 2023 at 11:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Brother Jason Hoychick will officiate the service.
