It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Vickie Lee Sheehan George, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, who left us on February 6, 2025. Born on May 21, 1959, in St. Albans, West Virginia, Vickie brought joy and warmth to everyone fortunate enough to know her. She spent most of her life in Greenville, South Carolina, where she made countless memories with her family and friends.

Vickie dedicated many years to her career as a store manager at Walmart, where her hard work and leadership inspired many. Outside of work, she was a true sports enthusiast, passionately following her favorite teams, the Denver Broncos and the LA Lakers.

A fantastic cook, Vickie enjoyed preparing delicious meals for her loved ones, pouring her heart into every dish she made. Above all, she cherished time spent with her family. As a dedicated mom and doting grandmother, she created a loving home filled with laughter and support.

Vickie is survived by her loving husband of twenty-nine years, Clifford George of DeRidder, LA; son, Mark Miller and Jessie of DeRidder, LA; stepdaughters, Amanda George and Emily George, both of Greenville, SC; grandchildren, Paul Michael Register, Austin Cody Register, Brieanna Norton, Dallion Miller, Riddick Colon, Casey George, Reigan George. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for her vibrant spirit and unwavering devotion to her family.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Paula Miller; parents, Paul and Twilla Sheehan; brother, Patrick Sheehan.

A private memorial service will be held in the coming days, where family and friends will gather to celebrate Vickie's incredible life and the lasting impact she made on those around her.

Rest easy, Vickie. You will always be in our hearts.

Cremation has been entrusted to Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.
