Veronica Grant

Veronica “Bo” Lynn Moore Grant, 56, of Pitkin, LA, passed from this life on Friday, June 9, 2023.

Bo was a very devoted mother, wife, aunt, sister, daughter, and friend. Her daughter, Emily was her world. She was a nurturer and always tended to everyone. Her nieces and nephews were treated as if they were her own children. Bo worked as the office manager for Robert Kite for 24 years, she loved her job and was a very dedicated employee. Bo was a huge LSU and Houston Astros fan and watched them any time they were on TV. She loved all her puppies, especially Asher, Brees and Maisy. She is loved and will be missed by all who knew her.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Richard Grant of Pitkin, LA; daughter, Emily Danielle Grant of Pitkin, LA; parents, Jimmy and Elaine Moore of Cravens, LA; brother, Ronny Lee Moore and Joey of DeRidder, LA; sister, Joni Lane West and Scot of Cravens, LA; aunt and uncle, Landa and James Johnson of Cravens ; brother-in-law, Mark Edward Grant and Yvonne of Natchitoches, LA; bonus brother, Michael David Johnson; nieces and nephews, Paightyn Thompson, Madelyn Thompson, Casen West, Kaleb Moore, Tanner Moore, Ryker Grant, Henry Grant and Charlie, Ian Grant, Hadlee Johnson, Jaylee Johnson, Cole Johnson; great nieces and nephew, Willow, Michael, Zoey; special friends, Robert Kite, Jeff and Barbara Kite, Barbara Daffin, Brother Thomas Thornton and a host of cousins, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Arlie and Mary “Peewee” Johnson and Thomas W. and Vivian Moore; brother-in-law, Jody Thompson.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 12, 2023 from 4:00 PM until the time of service at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, all at Gravel Hill Baptist Church in Cravens, LA. Brother Chad Estes, Brother Thomas Thornton, Brother Arlen Smith will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Michael Johnson, Scot West, James Thacker, Tanner Moore, Kaleb Moore, Jeff Kite. Burial will follow at Gravel Hill Cemetery in Cravens, LA.
