Verdman Bailey

Verdman Bailey, 89, of Dry Creek, Louisiana passed from this life on Sunday, November 11, 2012 in Lake Charles, Louisiana . Mr. Bailey was a Master Mason . He was a hardworking man, wonderful husband and an awesome grandfather.  Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Anna Marie Bailey; sons, Terrell Bailey and wife Gaye of Nederland, TX and Merrell Bailey and wife Denise of Dry Creek, LA; daughter, Phyllis McBride and husband Kenneth of Dry Creek, LA ; sister, Jacquline Burrow of Rosepine, LA; 6 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, 2 sisters and 1 grand daughter, Robbie McBride.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 from 5:00pm until 9:00pm at Hopewell Baptist Church in DeRidder, LA and on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 beginning at 10:00am until time of service.  Funeral service will be on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at 2:00pm also at Hopewell Baptist Church.  Burial will follow at Hopewell Cemetery in DeRidder, LA.  Pastor John Gray and Pastor Charlie Bailey will officiate.
