Vera Ann Hill Roy, 85, of DeQuincy, LA, passed from this life on Thursday, November 24, 2022.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Johnnie Ray Evans of California, Robert Darrell Evans, Sr. of Port Arthur, TX; daughter-in-law, Janina Evans, nieces, Corretta Williams, Paula Londow; longtime friend, Tina Metcalf of Longville, LA; grandchildren, Johnnie Ray Evans, Jr., Larry Roy Evans, Robert Darrell Evans, Jr., great grandson, Adrian Charles Evans and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Ethel Griffin, Linda Elmore, Maggie Guidry, Toyzie Wilson; brothers, Dan Goins, Zodie Goins, Mack Goins; father, Jim Hill; mother, Era Jean Moore.
