Vera Doyle Maxie Savell

Vera Doyle Maxie Savell, 87, of Hornbeck, LA, passed from this life on Friday, April 21, 2017.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Leroy Maxie & wife Carol of Pineville, LA; daughters, Mary Sharp & husband Johnny of DeRidder, LA and Joyce Davis & husband Mike of Hornbeck, LA; 16 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, family, friends; and a very special family friend Susie Philips.

Visitation will be held Monday, April 24, 2017 from 11:00 am – 8:00 pm at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.  Visitation will continue on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Myers Colonial Funeral Home from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm with the funeral service starting at 2:00 pm.  Officiating the service will be Benjamin Shaw.  Burial will follow at Good Hope Cemetery in Singer, LA.

We would like to thank everyone for all their prayers and support.  She will truly be missed by all.
