Velma Fancher Nash

Velma Fancher Nash, 93, passed from this life on Thursday, December 11, 2008 at Westwood Manor in DeRidder, Louisiana.  Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14, 2008 at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, Louisiana from 4 – 8 PM, and will continue on Monday, December 15, 2008 from 9 AM until the service at 2 PM.  Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 15, 2008 at 2 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, Louisiana, with burial following at Cannon Cemetery in Merryville, Louisiana.

Mrs. Nash was a long term member of the Junction community and the Calvary Baptist Church. She had 7 Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild.  She was preceded in death by her husband:  Rev. Acie T. Nash; daughter: June Jenkins and her grandson: Shannon Lynch.
