Vanna Louise Smith Maddox

Vanna Louise Smith Maddox, 90, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Monday, November 25, 2019.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Ralph Wayne Smith and Martha of DeRidder, LA, Arthur Eugene Maddox and Maggie of Rosepine, LA, Walter Ozan Maddox of Jasper, TX, Joseph Oliver Maddox and Cynthia of DeRidder, LA, Allen Lindley Maddox and Mary of DeRidder, LA; daughter, Vicki Jane Maddox of Jasper, TX; sister, Anita Smith Young of TN; nineteen grandchildren; a multitude of great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Walter Eugene Maddox; daughter, Cora Louise Smith Johnson; brother, Lindley Smith.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 from 5:00 to 9:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.  Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 27, 2019, also at Myers Colonial Funeral Home.  Brother James Byrd will officiate the service.  Pallbearers will be family and friends.  Burial will follow at Whitaker Cemetery in DeRidder, LA.
