Truthie Ann Mitchell 79, of Leesville, LA, passed from this life on Friday, June 24, 2022.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, DeDe Mitchell & DeWayne Magee of Shreveport. LA and Lori Snell and Van “Bubba” of Hornbeck, LA; brothers, Charles Morrison, Jr. and Sandy of Merryville, LA and Stanley Morrison and Octavia of Merryville, LA; grandchildren, Josh Pleasant and Danielle, Colby Chance and Colton Pleasant and Robyn, Alainah Semons and Jessie and Caleb Snell; great grandchildren, Aubrey, Emma, Jayce Pleasant and Jessah, Jemmah, Juliah, Jane and Jasper Semons; furbaby, Mollie Sue, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Audie Mitchell; daughter, Robin Mitchell; parents; Charles and Dorothy Morrison, Sr.; brother, Randy Morrison; grandchildren, Andrew Snell, Quisto Chance; son-in-law, Joe Chance.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 from 5:00 PM TO 8:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM, Thursday, June 30, 2022 at Calvary Baptist Church in Merryville, LA. Brother Jim Miers will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Josh Pleasant, Colton Pleasant, DeWayne Magee, Van “Bubba” Snell, Colby Chance, Caleb Snell and Jessie Semons.  Burial will follow at Cannon Cemetery in Merryville, LA.
