Truman Keel

Truman Bryant Keel, 90, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Sunday, August 8, 2021.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Delbert Keel and Kathryn of Rosepine, LA, Randy Keel and Angie of Nacogdoches, TX; sister, Audrey Dean of Stevens Point, WI; grandchildren, Lisa Book, Sherry Mathews and Jerry, Bryant Keel and Kandi, Chad Keel; nine great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of sixty-seven years, Luene Keel, parents, Russell and Duverne Keel.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 12, 2021 from 5:30 PM until 8:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Graveside funeral service will be at 10:00 AM, Friday, August 13, 2021 at Cannon Cemetery in Merryville, LA. Elder Jeff Mosley and Elder Pat Young will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Larry Carroll, Chad Keel, Bryant Keel, Dwayne Williams, Ronny Turner, Dale Beard. Honorary pallbearer will be Don Self.  Burial will follow at Cannon Cemetery in Merryville, LA.
