Thomas K. "T.K." Craft

d. September 1, 2021

Thomas K. “T.K.” Craft, 78, of Evans, LA, passed from this life on Wednesday, September 1, 2021.

His Lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant….

T.K. Craft started his journey in Evans, LA, where he was raised with four older sisters, whom he loved dearly. Later he married and became the father of six children. T.K. spent the rest of his life being a wonderful father and grandfather. He truly led by example, teaching his family many valuable lessons, encouraging a good work ethic, and being of service to others. He could often be found sitting on the floor playing with his grandchildren, whom he loved and adored.

T.K. worked as a Forester with Boise Cascade.  He devoted 26 years of his life to his career. Upon retirement, in 1996, T.K. dedicated his life to helping others. He was an active member of Galilee Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon. He spent countless hours working on construction projects at his church. He also spent many hours helping on other new church constructions. T.K. traveled many miles as a member of the Baptist Men’s Disaster Relief Chain Saw Crew. He also helped build the Vernon Baptist Association Building. T.K. didn’t have to be asked to help out. When he knew of a need, he met it.

Although T.K. spent most of his time serving God and others, occasionally, he did take time out of his busy schedule to enjoy life. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.  He spent many hours in the woods teaching his children and grandchildren to enjoy the great outdoors, just as he did.

The world was truly blessed the day T. K. Craft was born. He was a wonderful son, brother, husband, father, pawpaw, and friend. But more important than this, he was a true servant of God. T. K. was saved at an early age and spent his entire life being the “Hands of God.”

….thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of the Lord. Matthew 25:21
