Thelma Mae Peters, 90, of Lake Charles, Louisiana, passed from this life on Saturday, August, 1, 2009. Visitation will be held at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, Louisiana on Monday, August 3, 2009 from 4 PM until 9 PM. It will continue on Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at Gospel Lighthouse Pentecostal Church in DeRidder from 10 AM until time of service.  Funeral services will be held at Gospel Lighthouse Pentecostal Church on Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at 11 AM with Rev. Eddie Tilley officiating. Burial will follow at Rosepine Cemetery in Rosepine, Louisiana.

Ms. Peters is survived by the following; Son: Jerry Peters of Lake Charles, Louisiana; Grandson: Christian Peters of Ontario, Canada; Brother: Herman Neal Nash of DeRidder, Louisiana; Sisters: Velma Jordan of DeRidder, Louisiana, Gladys McFarland of Lake Charles, Louisiana, and Pauline Farrer of Graniteville, South Carolina.  She was preceded in death by; Husband: Matthew Peters; Son: Paul Peters; Sister: Gwendolyn McCallon; Brothers: George Murphy Nash and John Homer Nash.
