July 24, 1947 - March 17, 2015

Susie Low, 67, of Bon Wier, TX, passed from this life on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 in Beaumont, TX.  Susie liked sewing clothes for her kids and grandkids and loved visiting her family. Family was everything to her.  Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Don Low of Bon Wier, TX; sons, Keith Higginbotham of Bon Weir, TX, Markous Purdy and wife Sara of Durham, NC, and Tristan Harrington of Bon Wier, TX; daughters, Wanda Snyder and husband Junior of Pocahontas, AR, and Maranda Purdy of DeRidder, LA; brother, Tommy Joe Foraker of Longville, LA; sisters, Rosemary Foraker of Lincoln, NB, Betty Henson, Kathy Foraker, Retta Woodard, Tina Foraker and Joyce Foraker all of DeRidder, LA, Florence Barber of Longville, LA, and Minnie Foraker of DeRidder, LA; 10 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Elsie Foraker; sister, Jackie Foraker; brother, Paul Foraker; and son, Mark Higginbotham.

Visitation will be held Friday, March 20, 2015 from 5:00pm until 9:00pm at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.  Funeral service is Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 2:00pm at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Old Cypress Cemetery in DeRidder, LA.  Rev. Brad Noble of Grace Church in Newton, TX will officiate.
