Susie A. Bertrand

Susie A. Bertrand, 67, of DeRidder, Louisiana passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2012 in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 5, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 6, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in DeRidder. Father Jude will officiate. Interment will follow at Hopewell Cemetery in Dry Creek, Louisiana.

Those left to cherish her memory are husband, Mason Pierre Bertrand of DeRidder, Louisiana; one son, Arthur Lowell Alexander Jr., one daughter, Teresa Ann Webb; one step-daughter, Cammie Sue Goodeaux; four step-sons, Kent, Wendell, Mike and Patrick Bertrand.  Two sisters, Jarvie Jetel Bazzel and Grace Delores Mizzle, both of South Carolina and five grandchildren.

Mrs. Bertrand is preceded in death by her parents, Annie Johnson Goldman and Woodrow Goldman; sister, Gladys Marie Strickland and two brothers, Joseph Phillip Goldman and James Woodrow Goldman.
