Steve Coleman

Steve Coleman, 66 of Singer, LA, passed from this life on June 16, 2016.

Mr. Steve Coleman graduated from Shelby County High School in Shelbyville, KY and went on to achieve his degree in forestry and horticulture. Steve then went on to obtain his MBA from Tulane. Steve dedicated 27 years to Boise and was also a Forestry teacher for many years. He enjoyed spending time with the dogs he and his wife shared. Steve was a man of many talents and lived a life full of memories and will be truly missed.

Those left to cherish his memory are: his loving wife Elaine Embrey Coleman of Singer, LA; three step children and grandchildren; Brothers Dennis Coleman of Eminence, KY and Tony Coleman of Louisville, KY. Proceeded in death by his two brothers Jerry Coleman and Bill Coleman both of Kentucky; and his parents Wilton and Helen Coleman of Kentucky.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 19, 2016 from 5 PM TO 9 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA and Funeral Services will be at 10 AM, Monday, June 20, 2016 at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Burial will follow at Whitaker Cemetery in DeRidder, LA.
