Sterling Dock "S.D." Cooley

April 13, 1942 - March 2, 2015

Sterling Dock “S.D.” Cooley, 72 of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Monday, March 2, 2015.  Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Rose Cooley of DeRidder, LA; daughter, Melissa Sanders of Kansas; 4 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Carrie Cooley; brothers, T.J. and Glen Albert Cooley.

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 5, 2015 from 5:00pm until 9:00pm at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.  Funeral service is Friday, March 6, 2015 at 11:00am at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Old Cypress Cemetery, DeRidder, LA.
