Mr. Stephen Malcolm Wiley, 77, of Merryville, LA, passed away peacefully at his residence on March 10, 2025. He was born on April 23, 1947, in Alexandria, LA.

Stephen was preceded in death by his parents, Berlie and Maudie Wiley. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Linda Douglas Wiley, and his daughter, Malinda Wiley Green (Erik) of Merryville, LA. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Sharon Canales and Lauren Little of Deridder, LA, as well as his great-grandchildren, Alina Canales, Austen Canales, and Karoline Sanders. Additionally, he leaves behind his twin brother, John Michael Wiley (Sandra) of Port Allen, LA, and four other brothers: Kenneth Wiley (Gaynelle) of Raceland, LA; Tommy Wiley (Jamie) of Lockport, LA; James Wiley (Sally) of Effie, LA; and Aubrey Wiley (Darlene) of Deville, LA.

Stephen was a lifelong educator, dedicating 42 years to the Beauregard Parish School System, and he served as a bus driver for 38 years. He was also skilled in carpentry, and each summer he built a house for someone in the local area.

From a young age, Stephen chose to love and serve the Lord, remaining true to that commitment for the rest of his life. He cherished his family deeply, and his love for his wife, daughter, granddaughters, and great-grandchildren was both unconditional and enduring. He passed away, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and compassion. He was a humble, gentle soul who prioritized the needs of others, and his love and support touched countless lives. His family and friends will miss him greatly.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM on Thursday, March 13, at the funeral home. The funeral service will take place at noon on Thursday, March 13, at Colonial Myers Funeral Home, with Randy Satterfield and Don Barber officiating. Burial will follow at Cooper Cemetery
