Stephanie Thea Stephens Quave, 76, of Merryville, LA, passed from this life on Tuesday, September 13, 2022.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Billy Stephens and Jessica of  Jasper, TX; stepson, Derek Quave and Jennifer of Merryville, LA; brothers, Charles Bagwell and Shirley of DeQuincy, LA, Steve Bagwell, Jerry Bagwell; sisters, Norely Scott and Thomas of Orlando, FL, Mattie Guice, Wanda Naqiun of Merryville, LA; grandchildren, Danielle Bonner, Darrynn M. Stephens and Halea, Cory Stephens and Susie, Terry Burton & Cody, Jessica Pence, Kirk Harrington and Emily, Davin Hardwick, Amber Hardwick, Mattie Farris, Sarah Ferrell, David Ferrell, Savannah Ferrell, Justin Jones; great grandchildren, Michael, Bella, Andi, Billy Augustus, Freya, Jaci, Justin, Ty, Ivy, July, Jack, George, Jace, River, Stevi, Bella; special friend, Maurice Cochran; nieces and nephews, Sis Mazola, Sarah Whitehead and Michael, Dianna Beard and Hobie, Julie Cornwell and Curtis, J.R. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Quave; parents, W.O. and Doris Stephens; brother, Clyde Bagwell; sister, Gloria Western, Susanne Mendez, Dinkie Rumer.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2022 from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM at Green Oak Baptist Church in Merryville, LA. Brother Jim Miers will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Cory Stephens, Darrynn Stephens, J.R. Hamilton, Jimmy Dougherty, Derek Quave, Michael Whitehead, Cody Burton, Steve Evans.
