Simon Andrew Mckee, Jr.

Simon Andrew McKee, Jr., 79, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Saturday, October 7, 2023.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of forty-six years, Mary Jo McKee of DeRidder, LA; sons, Michael McKee and Angela of Effie, LA, Randy McKee and Kim of Denham Springs, LA; daughters, Kimberly Morgan and Ronnie of Rosepine, LA, Jennifer Newman and Ken of Pensacola, FL; grandchildren, Lindsi, Kelsi, Kaitlyn, Aaron, Kaylea, Lainie, Kade, Eric, Brady, Seth, Ashlyn, Jackson; fourteen great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Pamela Diane McKee; parents, Simon, Sr. and Ella Marie McKee; brothers, Titus McKee, Freeman McKee.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Rosepine United Pentecostal Church in Rosepine, LA. Visitation will continue Wednesday, October 11, 2023 from 9:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 AM, also at Rosepine United Pentecostal Church. Pastor Gary Bankson  will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Aaron McKee, Kade McKee, Eric Kyle, Brady McKee, Seth Morgan, Jackson McKee. Burial will follow at Beauregard Cemetery in DeRidder, LA.
