Shirley “S.L.” Lewis Davidson, 86, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Tuesday, November 2, 2021.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of fifty-six years, Gloria Davidson of DeRidder, LA; sons, Ken DuBois and Susie of Port Neches, TX, Kendall Davidson and Teresa of Oakdale, LA; daughters, Sherry Dumesnil of DeRidder, LA, Patricia Busby and Dale of Leesville, LA, Angie Harper and Tommy of CO; grandchildren, Chris Busby, Chase Busby, Dusty DuBois and Katy, Chad DuBois and Kristi, Blake Dumesnil and Hannah, Blaise Dumesnil, Bobby O’ Donovan, Britney Davidson; ; great grandchildren, Matthew, Koby, Isabella, Gracelyn, Baylor, Lynlee, Whitten, Cooper, Lane, Claire, Colton, Shelby, Keagan, Dailen, Kailen, Emerson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Grace Davidson; four sisters; three brothers.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 5, 2021 from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.  Pastor George Lee Glass will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Chris Busby, Chase Busby, Dusty DuBois, Chad DuBois, Blake Dumesnil, Blaise Dumesnil. Honorary Pallbearer will be Matthew Busby. Burial will follow at Beauregard Cemetery in DeRidder, LA.
