Shirley Poole, Jr. 73, of DeQuincy, LA passed from this life on Saturday, February 16, 2013. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Mary Poole; sons, Arthur Poole and wife Monique of DeQuincy, LA and Ricky Poole and wife Dwanna of DeQuincy, LA; daughters, Theresa Sanders and Paul Rupert of Alexandria, LA and Sherry Booty and husband Kevin of DeQuincy, LA; brothers, Billy Poole and wife Lil of DeQuincy, LA, Don Poole and Diane Chatman of DeQuincy, LA and Wilborn Poole and wife Carolyn of Lake Charles, LA; sisters, Betty Hoffneckt of Twin Falls, ID, Juanice Brown and husband Danny of DeQuincy, LA and Jeanette Cooley and husband Wayne of DeQuincy, LA; grandchildren, Courtney Poole, Kelsey Poole, Chris Poole, Ben Poole, Neah Neal, Kari Sanders, Kayla Booty and Nika Booty and 3 great grandchildren.  He was preceeded in death by his father, Shirley Poole, Sr., Mother, Jewell Poole, brothers, Milburn, Rayford, Ronald, Timothy and Freddie Poole.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 18, 2013 from 2:00pm until 10:00pm at First United Pentecostal Church Life Center in DeQuincy, LA.  Funeral services will be on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at 10:00am at FUPC in DeQuincy.  Burial will follow at Good Hope Cemetery in Singer, LA.  Bro. Carley Jackson will officiate.
