Shirley Lynn Yancey-Shell, 41, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Monday, November 5, 2018.

Those left to cherish her memory are spouse, Linda Yancey-Shell of DeRidder, LA; sons, Charles W. Yancey of DeRidder, LA, David Alex Yancey and Cindy Buffington of DeRidder, LA and Aron Jeffery Anderson Shell of IN; daughters, Katie Michelle Yancey of Las Vegas, NV and Brianna Taylor Shell of IN; brothers, Billy Burnett and Audrey and Ryan Burnett and Beth all of Tellico Plains, TN; sister, Tammy Sexton Johnson and Robert of Clinton, TN; father-in-law, George H. Ohsner, Sr. of DeRidder, LA; grandchildren, Brantley-Wayne George Yancey and Indie-Sophia Sage Yancey; brothers-in-law, George H. Ohsner of DeRidder, LA and Bobby Ohsner of Lexington Park, MD; sister-in-law, Maggie McKee and Glenon of Rosepine, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bobby and Kathy Ownby.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 8, 2018 from 5:00 – 9:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.  Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM, also at Myers Colonial Funeral Home.
