Shirley J. Bailey Ramsey

Shirley J. Bailey Ramsey, 74, passed from this life on Sunday, January 15, 2012.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Tina Arthur and husband Ken of Houston, Texas; Amber Morrow and husband PeeWee of DeRidder, Louisiana; Chuckie Johnson and husband Dan also of DeRidder and Sherry McKee and husband Todd of Rosepine, Louisiana. One son, Beaux Victor and wife Tammy of Junction, Louisiana. She is also survived by grandchildren, Tiffany Rhoten, Ryan Rhoten and wife Megan, Kenneth Arthur, Scott Arthur and wife Cameron, Josh Arthur, Jacqualyn Fox, Cameron Morrow, Trey Victor and wife Susan, Justin Victor, Drew Victor and Kayla and Kourtney McKee. Also great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Patience, Lexi, Ella, Emily, Claire and Mylee. She was preceded in death by her mother, Gertrude Navarre Bailey Raiford , father, Ethard Bailey and step-father, J.T. "Son" Raiford.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home from 4:00pm to 9:00pm and Wednesday, January 18, 2012 from 9:00am to 12:00 noon.  Funeral Services will be Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at 12:00 noon also at the funeral home.  Reverands, George Lee Glass and George L. Glass Jr. will officiate. Special Speaker will be nephew, Coy Raiford.  Burial will follow at Johnson-Bailey Cemetery in Rosepine,  Louisiana.
