Sherry Pauline Eaves Stanford, born on July 7, 1954, in Newton, TX, lived a life filled with love, laughter, and devotion to her family. A homemaker by choice, Pauline found true joy in tending to her family, creating memories, and immersing herself in the simple pleasures of life. She passed away on September 5, 2024, at her residence in Leesville, LA, surrounded by her loved ones.

Pauline's legacy lives on through her beloved husband of forty-five years, Stuart Stanford of Leesville, LA; her sons, Andrew G. Stanford and Stormy of Anacoco, LA, Timothy Stuart Stanford and Sara of Langston, PA, Thomas Quinton Stanford and Kaylee of Watts, OK; daughters, Sarah Ann Sellers and Shawn of Leesville, LA, Elizabeth Gail Franklin and Terry of Talihina, OK; brothers, Raymond Eaves of Merryville, LA, Dan Eaves and Brenda of Merryville, LA; sisters, Marilyn Warden of DeRidder, LA, Gloria Midkiff and Willis of Vidor, TX; as well as her adored grandchildren, Zoe Franklin, Elijah Sellers, Obadiah Sellers, Naomi Sellers, Ruby Stanford, Ronnie Lynn Stanford, Ira Stanford and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. 

Recognized for her green thumb and passion for the outdoors, Pauline loved working in the yard, taking leisurely walks, and playing the piano at church. Her culinary skills, especially when cooking for her family, left an indelible mark on those who were fortunate enough to taste her creations. Pauline's talent for quilting and her cherished hobby of journaling served as testaments to her creativity and commitment to preserving memories.

A celebration of Pauline's life will take place on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. A public viewing will commence at 9:00 am, followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 am, where family and friends will gather to honor and remember the vibrant spirit of Sherry Pauline Eaves Stanford. Brother Arlen Smith and her husband, Stuart Stanford will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Andrew Stanford, Timothy Stanford, Thomas Stanford, Shawn Sellers, Van Eaves, Joe Eaves. Burial will follow at Cannon Cemetery in Merryville, LA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Minnie Eaves; brothers, John, George, and James Eaves.

Though she may no longer walk among us, her essence will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her.

Pauline's family would like to extend their gratitude to all who have shown their support during this time of remembrance and reflection. May she be remembered for her warmth, love, and unwavering dedication to those she held dear. Rest peacefully, dear Pauline.
