Sherlie E. Hedger

Sherlie E. Hedger, 80, passed from this life on Saturday, July 18, 2009 at his residence in DeRidder, Louisiana.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, Louisiana from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, July 22, 2009 from 9:00 AM until the funeral service at 10:00 AM.  Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at Myers Colonial Funeral Home at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Old Cypress Cemetery.

He is survived by the following; Wife: Shirley B. Hedger of DeRidder, LA; Daughters: Ada Mae and husband Charles Leo Smith of DeRidder, LA and Sherlie Eugeneia Owens of Bruner, MO; Brothers: Kenneth Hedger of Odessa, TX and Alpha Lee Hedger of Graham, TX; as well as 9 Grandchildren, 20 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild.  He was preceded in death by: Only Son: Blackie the dog; Daughter: Ginger Lee Hedger; Parents: Shirlie Ruben and Ada May (Cochran) Hedger; Grandchildren: Pauline Louise LaBrie and Eugene Leo Smith; and Sister: Irene Ray.
