Shelton Joseph Mayers

Shelton Joseph Mayers, 81, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Thursday, March 18, 2021.

Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Boyd Mayers and Millicent of Altoona, PA; daughters, Sharon Moses and Roger of DeRidder, LA, Naomi Lemmon and Scott of Sulphur, LA, Nicole Reid and Billy of DeRidder, LA, Kristine Ramsey and Tyrone of MD; sister, Renella Stout of FL; eighteen grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of more than fifty years, Patricia Mayers; parents, Lannie Miller and Odelia; brother, Shelby; sisters, Marie Carter, Glenda Manuel.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday, March 22, 2021 at Christway Church in DeRidder, LA.  Pastor George Lee Glass will officiate the service.
