Sharon Douglas Bass 60, of Ball, Louisiana passed from this life on Sunday, July 25, 2010 at her residence
in Ball, Louisiana. Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 from 5 P.M. to 9 P.M. at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, Louisiana. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at 10 A.M. at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, Louisiana. Interment followed at Cooper Cemetery in Merryville, Louisiana.

Mrs. Bass is survived by Husband: Ralph Bass of Ball, LA; Son: Weston Bass & wife Gail of Alexandria, LA; Mother: Irma Douglas of Merryville, LA; Brother: Danny Douglas and wife Cindy of Merryville, LA; Sister: Linda Wiley & husband Malcolm of Merryville, LA; Grandchildren: Caleb Bass, Zachary Jones. Mrs. Bass also leaves to cherish her memory a host of loving nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by Father - Frank H. Douglas; Brother - Steve Norman Douglas.

Mrs. Bass was a dedicated educator for sixteen years in Frankllin and Rapides Parishes.
