Sharlene Ruth Crosby Craft "Nee"Nee"

Sharlene Ruth Crosby Craft, lovingly known as “NeeNee” 64, of Merryville, LA, passed from this life on Tuesday, September 19, 2023.

Sharlene was the hardest worker no matter what job she was doing. She did everything she could for everyone; it did not matter whether it was her own family, friends or the kids at Merryville High School. She would even stop to help someone in need on the side of the road. Sharlene never wanted to see anyone else go without and she put everyone else’s needs in front of her own. She enjoyed looking after the kids of Merryville while she worked for many years as the custodian at the school. Above all, her greatest joy was spending time with and caring for her grandchildren. She was loved by all who knew her and will be dearly missed.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Meagan McGrew of Merryville, LA; brother, David Crosby and Dorothy of Ava, MO; sisters, Darlene Dyer and Ernest of Dam B, TX, Teri Miller and James of Merryville, LA; grandchildren, William McGrew III, Jude McGrew, Coen Craft and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her son, Charles Leon Craft; parents, Daniel and Bernice Crosby; brother, Richard Crosby.

A private service will be held at a later date.
