Sandra Nell Burge Allison

Born November 6, 1962, to Ernest and Joyce Bennett Burge, Sandra Nell Burge Allison, was the baby of eleven children. She was welcomed into Heaven by our daddy on March 23, 2025, when she passed away peacefully with her children by her side.

First, she was a mama, then she was a friend. She was our first best friend, and if you ever met her, she was yours as well.

She was preceded in death by her husband of thirty-five years, Jeff Allison; her parents; brothers, Ray K. Burge, David Lee Burge, Ernest Burge, Jr.; sister, Sharon Marie "Sissy" Bullitt.

She is survived by her son, Jeffery Ray Allison, Jr. and wife, Ashley; daughter, Felicia Nicole Allison and Michael Stark; grandchildren, McKenna Rae Allison, Marshall Rhett Allison, Kasen Lane Simmons and Kirah Ann Stark; brothers, Charles Burge and Bonnie, Ronald Burge and Lou, Larry Burge and Jan, Jerry Burge; sisters, Eva Markham, Barbara Billings; special friend, Tammie Eaves Cooley and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday, March 26, 2025, from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at First Baptist Church in Merryville, LA. Visitation will continue Thursday, March 27, 2025, at 9:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM, also at First Baptist Church in Merryville, LA. Brother Lyndon Longoria and Brother Charles Hooper will officiate the service. Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Michael Stark, James Bullitt, Chance Burge, along with her grandchildren, McKenna Allison, Marshall Allison and Kasen Simmons. The honorary pallbearer will be Dusty Cryer. Burial will follow at Newlin Cemetery in Singer, LA.
