Sadie Cryer

Sadie Mae Cryer, 92, of Lake Charles, LA, passed from this life on Saturday, March, 5, 2022.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Wesley Cooke of Brandon, MS, Mack Franks & Sheena of Lake Charles, LA, and Joe Franks of DeQuincy, LA; brother, Guy Ward, of Beaumont, TX; sister, Imogene Rutledge, of Vidor, TX; grandchildren, Lisa, Bethann, Shawn, Shane, Eva, Amanda, Courtney, James, Contina, Lasandra, Chyrel; seventeen great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Hunter Charles Cooke, Elmer Franks and Norman Cryer; son, James Franks and parents, Marcus and Susan Ward.

Graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 12, 2022 at Newton Cemetery, in Newton TX.  Pastor Brandon Gill will preside over the service. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.  Burial will follow.
