Ryker Don Davis

It is with heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of our sweet Ryker Don Davis, who left us far too soon on April 15, 2025, at just 2 months old. Born on February 5, 2025, in DeRidder, LA, Ryker brought immense joy and light to the lives of everyone who knew him. With a captivating smile and a contagious laugh, this happy baby had a special way of bringing people together. He was particularly fascinated by his older siblings and loved the colorful bright lights around him.

Ryker is survived by his loving parents, Jason and Mary Davis of DeRidder, LA; siblings, Skyler Reed, Emily Davis, Christopher Davis, Zachariah Gordey, Kinsley Davis, and Maygeen Gordey; his grandparents, Laura Davis and Dale Carriere of Opelousas, LA, Glen and Sherry Gordey of DeRidder, LA; along with an extended family of aunts and uncles, Calvin and Samantha Gordey, Tiffany and Corey Hinton, Genesis Gordey and Mark Buxton, Liz and Jeff Townsley, Brittany and Paul Courville, Kayla and Michael Hilt, Amber Davis, Angelique Davis; cousins, Christian, Trevor and Mia Gordey, Connor, Ava and Wyatt Courville, Liam and Abby Davis, Karter Hilt, Alexander Vincent, Autumn Perron and a host of other family members.

Ryker was preceded in death by his grandfather, Tommy Davis; uncle, Christopher Davis.

A funeral service will be held in Ryker's honor at Pine Ridge Baptist Church, 6026 LA 112, Melder, LA 2025, Monday, April 21, 2025, at 11:00 AM, where family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate his brief but beautiful life. Prior to the service, a public viewing will take place at the church beginning at 9:00 AM.

Following the service, Ryker will be laid to rest on the same day at 12:00 PM, at the family burial site located at Pine Ridge Cemetery in Melder, LA.

Though Ryker's time with us was short, his light will forever shine in our hearts. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
