Russell Young

Russell Young, 70, of Leesville, LA, passed from this life on Tuesday, April 28, 2020.

Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Brian Young of Topsy, LA; daughters, Chasity Young Radig of Merryville, LA, Rhonda Young of Leesville, LA; brother, Thomas Young of Vidor, TX; grandchildren, Crystal, Bart, Bradley, Alexis, Ian, Draven, Arie and Christopher; great grandchildren, Justice and River; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arie and Betty Brown Young; brother, Jimmy Young.

Drive up visitation will be held on Friday, May 1, 2020 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.  Brother Kennis Smith will officiate the private funeral service.  Private Burial will follow at Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Leesville, LA.

The family has requested no flowers at this time due to the state of our nation and the unexpected financial burden their friends and family may be experiencing during the covid-19 pandemic.
